Every discipline, pushed far enough, reduces to a single question: what is consciousness? Just as peripheral nerves exist so the body can know its own state, consciousness is the brain's activity of knowing itself. The disciplines split apart only because the indirect act of knowing the brain through the outside world grew into a fascination with the outside world itself. If that's true, all disciplines will eventually have to be reduced back together.

Zethelon leans heavily on philosophy, but isn't bound to it — from this vantage point, it takes on everything. What cannot be put into words, though, may only be felt as it is — language is nothing more than training wheels for thought.
